Ajaib Bhadare
VP Engineering, Access and Aggregation Business Unit, Cisco Systems

Ajaib Bhadare is the Vice President of Engineering of Cisco's Access and Aggregation Business Unit. He is also a former Vice President of Optical Strategy/Engineering at Cisco. Prior to Cisco's acquisition of Cerent, Ajaib was a founding member of Cerent. Ajaib built and led the engineering team that delivered the Industry's first Multi-Service Provisioning Platform which is Cisco's flagship product ONS 15454.

Ajaib has been in the telecom industry since 1980, after graduating from the University of London. He began his career with Marconi, then later joined GTE communications and then went on to be an early participant at Optilink - a startup that designed the Litespan product, which was later acquired by DSC/Alcatel. Ajaib has a successful track record of being lead architect/designer and delivering products that even today command leading positions both in sales and innovation.
