J.J. Freitag, Associate

J.J. Freitag is an associate with Azure Capital Partners where he specializes in communications, systems, mobile and related technologies.

Prior to joining Azure, J.J. was active in the venture capital community in New York. He worked on portfolio company strategy and execution for RRE Ventures and Columbia Science and Technology Ventures. J.J. has held a number of operational roles in his career including enterprise sales positions with Hyperion Solutions, Edgenet, and Brio Technologies. He began his technology career with Oracle. J.J. also spent two years as a research analyst for Dr. John Cogan at the Hoover Institute.

J.J. holds an M.B.A. from Columbia University where he graduated with Dean’s List honors and has B.A. in Public Policy from Stanford University where he was an All-American on the swim team.
